Claire

Claire paced across the crowded hallway on this first day of school. She peeked rapidly to her left, and then to her right. Then, she cut through and mixed with the throng of students. Was anyone paying any attention to her? Although she craved to glance at her surroundings, she continued to stare straight ahead. However, it appeared that none of her classmates noticed as they trotted quickly to their classes.
